We’ve all been there— hard times, tough situations, and lots of tears. Sometimes it’s due to something we’ve done with mistakes we’ve made, while other times it’s something that someone has done to us. We won’t address which one of those situations hurts worse, because, well, they both can hurt immensely, even though it’s a different kind of pain, but they both need healing and hope.
When everything inside of you is screaming to give up and you honestly don’t know how to put one foot in front of the other, encouragement and positive words can put you on the right path. We’ve put together some that we’ve found helpful below. Write them on post-it notes and put them in your car, write them in dry-erase marker on your bathroom mirror, or save them as your phone lock-screen.
