Summer is a season of community events that celebrate and highlight many of the amazing things happening in our cities. Your community is here for you! Clearway Clinic has been blessed to be present at a few recent events in Worcester and Springfield, sharing information about our free services with our communities. Here are some of the highlights!
Hope For Worcester’s Day of Hope
Hope For Worcester is a connector that provides community networks for the flourishing of the city. What does that mean? Well, their many projects exist to spread HOPE in Massachusetts, whether through community engagement projects, advocacy work, or their annual “Day of Hope.” The Day of Hope is a free annual event that reaches thousands of people in Worcester County with free clothing, groceries, services, games, and more!
We are grateful to have been part of this event in years past, and thankful to attend again this year! At our table, we offered free giveaways and informational resources and had the opportunity to share information about the free medical services we offer within the Worcester & Springfield communities and beyond. When facing an unplanned pregnancy, “hope” might be one of the last things on your mind. But there is hope! Even if you feel entirely unprepared to parent, know that your community has support for you. We offer free pregnancy confirmation services and resource referrals, among other services. You are not alone.
New Life Community Fair
The New Life Community Fair is hosted annually by Centro de Adoracion Vida Nueva (New Life Worship Center) in Worcester for the Main South Community. This free event includes bouncy houses, face painting, music, health screenings, food, and more. Local organizations get to represent their services alongside the church’s ministries. This was Clearway’s first year participating in the event! It was a joy to join our friends at New Life and share about what we do in the community.
Unified Worship (Westfield)
Unified Worship is an annual summer event in Westfield, MA sponsored by Unified Worship and the Q 99.7. It was founded to spread “faith, hope, and unity amongst the churches in our community.” This faith-centered event offers the community a chance to worship live with local worship artists and hear testimonies of God changing lives here in our local community. This event is not just for those who attend church and believe in God, but is open to everyone to have the opportunity to experience a powerful night of worship with a diverse Christian community!
At this event are also local vendors and community resources, and this year, Clearway Clinic hosted a table. Clearway Clinic is a faith-based nonprofit, so it was a blessing to join other local faith-based groups and churches to share love and hope with our community. To anyone who stopped by to see us, we loved seeing you there! Our clinic on 1259 E. Columbus Ave. in Springfield offers free pregnancy confirmation and support services available to anyone who needs them.
