A list of resources for helping providers connect their patients with statewide programs that offer food and housing assistance, help with quitting smoking, as well as other support. This document also provides a link to clinical guidelines and resources, such as rapid access to behavioral health services or live resources for decision support regarding the risks and benefits of medications during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Parental Stress Line: 1-800-632-8188
Parents and caregivers who are experiencing any kinds of problems related to their children can call the Parental Stress Line for support. The Parental Stress Line is staffed by volunteer counselors who are sympathetic and nonjudgmental. The hotline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 
 
One Tough Job
One Tough Job connects parents in Massachusetts with parenting information and resources.  Parents can search for resources by their child’s age (0-6 years old) or by topic.  Parents can also enter their zip code to find parenting support organizations and programs nearby.

Healthy Family Massachusetts
Healthy Family Massachusetts provides support and resources for young, first-time parents.  Activities available include workshops on parenting skills, playgroups, and other social events.  Parents can sign up for the program during pregnancy, and the program serves families with children up to 3 years old.

Parenting Support Groups
Parenting Education and Support Programs help parents with young children to develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to be the best parents they can be. These groups are led by trained professionals and provide opportunities for parents to learn new skills, connect with other parents, and get information about community resources.

Family Resource Centers
Family Resource Centers (FRCs) are a statewide network of community-based providers that offer many types of programs for families.  These services include parenting classes, support groups, early childhood services, and information and referral resources.  FRCs serve families whose children range in age from birth to 18 years of age.
