What Are The Signs Of Pregnancy?

Do you think you might be pregnant, but you’re not sure if it’s too early to tell? Maybe you have some of the traditional signs like a missed period or sore breasts- but that might not fully indicate whether or not you’re pregnant.
At the same time, the only way to honestly know whether or not you are pregnant is to take a test or visit our clinic for a free pregnancy confirmation appointment. However, understanding the signs of pregnancy is a great way to know what to look for if you think you have conceived.

Pregnancy Signs

While this is not an extensive list, these are the most common early signs of pregnancy to look out for. Most of these symptoms occur in the first 4-6 weeks, so it’s important to keep track of your periods.
Sore Breast: As your hormones change, you might experience breast soreness, typically around weeks 4-6 of your pregnancy.
Missed Period: After implantation, your body starts to produce hCG, which will stop your period so your body can maintain your pregnancy.
Smell Sensitivity: During pregnancy, you might experience a heightened smell, which can cause vomiting if you are suffering from morning sickness.
Fatigue: Due to increased progesterone, your body might experience fatigue either early on or throughout your pregnancy.
Cramping: Implantation can cause mild cramping and light bleeding at the beginning of your pregnancy.
Nausea: Shifting hormones can cause morning sickness. However, it typically only lasts in the first trimester. There are some exceptions to this, but you can work with a doctor to reduce morning sickness if it gets too uncomfortable.
Mood Swings: As estrogen and progesterone increase, you might experience mood swings that have you feeling reactive or weepy.
